Amazon Music is now available on Xbox One consoles

Microsoft’s November update for Xbox One consoles brings a plethora of new capabilities and changes, including the ability to directly stream from Amazon Music.

The app is available for Xbox One users today for customers based in the United States, according to a press release. More countries are expected to be added “soon,” but there isn’t a firm launch date just yet. Amazon Music joins Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and YouTube as apps that people can use to stream music.

  • Amazon Prime members can use the new Xbox One app to stream from their library at no additional cost, according to Microsoft. The app is available in the Xbox Store now.
