E-40 and Too Short’s Verzuz: The most hyphy moments
Bay Area, Yay Area! The final Verzuz battle of 2020 pit E-40 and Too Short head to head on Saturday (Dec. 19). This online event was estimated to be the most expensive Verzuz yet, bringing out all the timelines of music from the Bay Area Legends. Hosted in a San Fransisco studio, the set included a giant Circo logo, Oakland and Vallejo street signs, and old school custom G-rides to capture that authentic Oak-town feel.

The begining it was also epic as the fans got to anticipate the show before the rappers hit the stage with a wonderful pre-show; Virtually tuned fans watched two DJs spin records that represented the best of old school vs. new school West Coast. The Bay area vibes were true to “All of the Bay; All the cities. All the genres.” Some tunes included Goapele “ Closer,” “93 Til Infinity” by DJ Che’, “Pimp Of The Year” by Dru Down, “Excuse Me” by Mozzy and more.
Many Celebrities tuned in it was epic as fans and celebrities all watched and commented together. In the LIVE Instagram chat was Kehlani, Bun B, Nick Cannon, OT Genisis, DJ Carisma, Big Boi, Ray J, Snoop Dogg, and others.
What a day Saturday night was and now in the history books. We couldn’t be more proud of our Bay Area Legends and OG’s who helped put us on the map. ?
