The well known and we respected pop superstar artistically put together songs from both surprise albums she released last year, including “Champagne Problems,” “Happiness,” “It’s Time to Go,” “Tolerate It,” “Coney Island (feat. The National),” and “Hoax” for her Dropped Your Hand While Dancing chapter. The title of the mini project comes from the chorus of “Champagne Problems” when Swift sings, “Because I dropped your hand while dancing/ Left you out there standing/ Crestfallen on the landing/ Champagne problems.”

A new album means new chapters,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Thursday (Jan. 21) while announcing the EP. “the ‘dropped your hand while dancing’ chapter is out now.”

Both Folklore and Evermore, which she released unexpectedly in 2020, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Folklore became the top-selling album of 2020 in the U.S. and the only album to sell at least a million copies during the year, according to MRC Data’s 2020 U.S. Year-End Report.
